This museum, inaugurated in 1992, aims to portray what was once one of the main economic activities of the municipality: the cultivation of vines and the production of wine. Reservations are required at the Municipal Library to visit.

Bayou in the Mira river, surrounded by a landscape of much vegetation. The place is rather peaceful and ideal for resting. The most common fish species are the achigan, the barbel and the carp. The picturesque villages of Santa Clara-a-Velha ( with its roman bridge and the chapel of Our Lady of Cola) and Sabóia are also worth a visit. By the dam there is an inn.

Quinta do Seixo is located on the south bank of the Douro River, in Cima-Corgo, and offers a wonderful view over the river. Since 1987, it has been owned by Sogrape Vinhos, which created a modern winemaking center here, where the famous Port and Douro wines are produced. Here you can learn more about the region and visit the cellar and the robotic presses, learning about the entire wine production cycle, as well as trying a Port Wine tasting.

In this space opened in 2009, the main point of attraction is the production of beer on Chen, which is a process that is in sight of the customers. This is a handmade product unpasteurized, accompanied by a typical brewery cuisine: fresh seafood, steaks, and assorted snacks francesinhas. The wide terrace overlooks the city.

The Tavern Restaurant Grocery Sebastião, in Santarém, the walls of the rooms are painted with designs, where you have the perspective of being inside a Bullring. With irony in dash, demonstrates the good will of the House, betting on the gathering around the table to win customers. The Pashmina is a popular Indian restaurant, located in the South of the Church of Praia da Luz, so you might want to book a table to ensure place. The room is cosy and friendly service. The "Kashmiri", comes with the sauce of dried fruits, is one of the specialities of the House. Be sure to taste the "Balti" or the "Pashmira", a dish with sweet and sour onions. The wines are not the forte da casa. Already beer is much in demand by customers.

The Tourist Office organizes a tour that takes in Castro Verde's main attractions. By appointment, you can visit the Royal Basilica, the Lucerne Museum, and local crafts, among other attractions.

The views to the west, when the coast is clear, show the wide Atlantic ocean.
