Overlooking the so-called “Terras da Costa”, the approximately 13 km of this area of protected landscape, between Cova do Vapor (Costa da Caparica) and Lagoa de Albufeira, are a set of beautiful erosion forms, with high geological and paleontological interest. There, traces of living beings can be found, namely of plant origin. In areas adjacent to the cliff (pine forests of Medos and Aroeira) we can find some typical flora of the area.

The hill overlooks the town of Lamego. The Biological Park, with an area of 50 ha, is located on the Meadas Hill. It has a wild environment with many local plant and animal species. At the distance of 1 km, one finds the Meadas Hill Wind Farm that should be visited. Another obligatory visiting spt is the Meadas Hill belvedere, with imposing views of the granitical Marão Mountain and,way down below, by the Douro river, the town of Peso da Régua.

The approximate 175 km of the Lima river (67 km in Portugal) end in the beautiful city of Viana do Castelo, with the Santa Luzia belvedere well on the top. Its mouth is also a boating area of extreme importance in the North of Portugal and in Galicia. We can find two recreational docks (one upstream and another downstream of the train bridge). Further ahead, the commercial port, the fishing port and the shipyards mark the transition to the Atlantic Ocean with a wharf.

The Magnetic José Malhoa occupies a building where, time, worked the corsets of the well-known brand Pompadour. The inheritance in the old factory is present in the architecture and in industrial-inspired décor, with iron and pipes in sight and varnished cement floor and walls. Composed of two floors, the Magnetic José Malhoa has a «superior», terrace for al fresco dining, framed by vegetation and the urban landscape. In the ' lower terrace ', uneven first, finds a more relaxed lounge area.

The Recanto restaurant is a familiar space in the small village of Flor da Rosa, next to Crato. The dining rooms are after the coffee space and conversations. It offers simply furnished rooms, two of which dedicated to groups, and even a summer terrace (covered), advisable for the hottest days. This space is allowed to smoke. On the menu you will find traditional Alentejo, especially pork and the migas. One of the specialties are the Migas of bread with fried meat. Renowned is the Soaked here served.

This lovely village has a valuable architectural heritage, with a special note to the church of Our Lady of Conceição, from the 16th century, with a Renaissance portico and, inside, polichrome tiles of the early 17th century and 16th century paintings. This Natural Park is characterised by the existence of a cordon of dunes and beaches that protects a lagoon area, whose average depth is 2 metres. Part of this is permanently submerged, while another part emerges during low tide. The surface of the Park extends from the Ancão Beach to Manta Rota and includes wide variety of habitats, including barrier islands, salt marshes, sand bars and vasa, dunes, salt marshes, freshwater and brackish ponds, waterways, forests and agricultural areas, which refers to a wide variety of flora and fauna.
