This mountain range, at 553 meters altitude, belongs to the sedimentary edge of Estremadura, located east of Pombal. Situated east of Pombal, it divides the hydrographic basins of the Soure and Nabão rivers and measures 7.5 km in length. Its limestone formations contain an original set of caves, grottos, sinkholes, and escarpments. The vegetation at its base and on its slopes reveals cultivated fields of wheat and vegetables, pine forests, patches of oak groves, and a great variety of plants. It offers conditions suitable for climbing, paragliding, and various hiking trails.

A hill of the Minho province. It is located near the Lima river and separates the municipalities of Viana do Castelo, Ponte do Lima and Paredes de Coura. It is mostly granitical. It reaches its peak on a plain, at an altitude of 800 metres, and it is 13 kilometres long.

Integrated into the Alvão Natural Park, it is located west of Vila Pouca de Aguiar, in the northern extension of the Marão mountain range. It reaches a maximum altitude of 1,330 meters at the Cravelas geodetic vertex. Previously known as the Eiró mountain range, the Alvão mountain range is now also known by other names, such as the Ordem mountain range or the Sabugueiro mountain range, depending on the town. Located south of Chaves, between Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the mountain range is part of the Trás-os-Montes Ancient Massif and is 10 kilometers long. From the top, views over the entire region are enjoyed, with highlights including Oura, Vidago, and Vilarinho.

It belongs to the Old Massif and is located in the east-central region of Trás-os-Montes, between the Sabor and Tua rivers. It is over 12 km long and 5 km wide, reaching its highest point at 1,200 meters, above the Vilariça valley. The region is characterized by mountain ranges, small high-altitude plateaus, deep, hollow valleys, some watercourses, and open valleys. The flora ranges from chestnut trees to cork oaks, olive trees, almond trees, cherry trees, orange trees, and vineyards. It is noteworthy that, until a few years ago, rye was cultivated at an altitude of about 1,000 meters.

This mountain range connects Alto Alentejo to Beira Baixa, stretching 27 km and measuring almost 2,500 m wide. Its slopes sometimes exceed 50%. It runs through Proença-a-Nova, Vila Velha de Ródão, and Nisa and is traversed by the deep epigenetic valleys of the Tagus and Ocreza rivers. Four geomonuments of the Naturtejo Geopark of the Southern Plateau can be seen in this mountain range.

Located on the southern edge of Central Alentejo, this mountain range features evergreen deciduous forests dominated by cork oak and holm oak groves. Here, we find a rich fauna, particularly in terms of birds and predatory mammals. Its maximum elevation is 420 meters.

A mountain range with the highest peak at 653 meters, located between Estremoz and Redondo. It boasts a wide variety of plants and animals, such as the insectivorous plant known as sundew. Despite the immense eucalyptus plantation it witnessed in the 1950s and after its fire in 2003, it remains the lungs of several municipalities. It is also the site of the Convent of São Paulo, which has been located since 1182.

The views from here are breathtaking. They stretch from the Atlantic Ocean (to the west), to the Serra da Estrela (southeast), and past the Serra do Caramulo (northeast). The Buçaco National Forest stands out in the landscape.

Located three kilometres to the north of Figueira da Foz, the Boa Viagem Mountain has lovely surrounding areas and unique houses. A special note to the Natural Park and to the Cape Mondego.
