The Louro mountain is part of the Arrábica mountain chain and is included in the Arrábida Natural Park. There are vestiges of the neolithic, the Roman age and the Muslim age until our current days. At the peak there are mills that have witnessed time and history.

Th Marão mountain, located on the border of the Oporto and Vila Real districts, is 20 km long and separates the basins of the Tâmega and Corgo rivers.

The Mendro Hill separates the Baixo Alentejo region from the Alto Alentejo and is located in the limits of the districts of Évora and Beja, between Vidigueira and Portel, and belongs to the Old Massif to the south of the Tagus river. Its hillsides are tree covered and one may view, from the Mendro hill, on the foothills, a lovely panorama to the south, from Vidigueira, Beja, harvest lands and olive trees.

A rugged natural area offering landscapes of great natural beauty. High on the mountain, there is a large stone cross that marks the battle between the French and Anglo-Portuguese armies on August 17, 1808, during the first Napoleonic invasion, marking the beginning of the Peninsular War.

The Rabadão Hill is crossed by the Ceira river and is located on the western extremity of the Açor Hill.

Small rock mass located east of the Sabor River, close to Torre de Moncorvo. It measures around ten kilometers in length, reaching its maximum altitude in Fraga do Facho. It is a very wooded mountain range, which invites you to take beautiful walks among the dense vegetation. Here we find, in addition to the Lusitanian oak, wild chestnut trees, beeches, black trees and pines. In other times, the bush hid several big game animals such as bears, wild boars and deer and the town's population went here to stock up on firewood. This hill belongs to the mountain range that includes the Arrábida Hill and ends abruptly by the sea. It reaches its peak at the Píncaro, at an altitude of 381 metres, and it is hence the highest cliff in continental Europe. An excellent place for mountain climbing.

The Gaiteiros Mountain is located by the Arrábida Natural Park. It is 3 km long.

Located three kilometres to the north of Figueira da Foz, the Boa Viagem Mountain has lovely surrounding areas and unique houses. A special note to the Natural Park and to the Cape Mondego.

The views from here are breathtaking. They stretch from the Atlantic Ocean (to the west), to the Serra da Estrela (southeast), and past the Serra do Caramulo (northeast). The Buçaco National Forest stands out in the landscape.
