Petiscaria Preguiça, in Vila Nova de Foz Coa, hides in the Douro valley, overlooking the river, and is much more than a place just for snacking. Here serve up meals, full of regional flavors, highlighting what the river, so very close, has to offer.

House built between 1871 and 1875, with the aim of housing a laboratory and photography studio. The building, an expressive monument of iron architecture, deserves a visit in itself. Here you can visit some permanent and other temporary exhibitions. The building pioneered a transitional architecture that admirably fused art and technology in stone, stucco, iron and glass.

Bayou in the Mira river, surrounded by a landscape of much vegetation. The place is rather peaceful and ideal for resting. The most common fish species are the achigan, the barbel and the carp. The picturesque villages of Santa Clara-a-Velha ( with its roman bridge and the chapel of Our Lady of Cola) and Sabóia are also worth a visit. By the dam there is an inn.

A nice place to visit before heading to the Bairro Alto. Prices are accessible, thus many youngsters com here in th evening. It has nice views. It is open between 10 pm and 4 am.

Upon arrival, a viewpoint with a chapel awaits us, from which the name of the beach derives. Located between cliffs, this beach offers excellent conditions for pleasant days in the sun. The beach has a concession area, as there are several tourist sets nearby. Boats depart from here to visit the cliff caves that abound here.

The Tavern Restaurant Grocery Sebastião, in Santarém, the walls of the rooms are painted with designs, where you have the perspective of being inside a Bullring. With irony in dash, demonstrates the good will of the House, betting on the gathering around the table to win customers. Also gives much attention to wine, in jars and in large quantities, and the snacks, freshly made, warm and to share. Time to pay a € 10 Note still got change.

The Pashmina is a popular Indian restaurant, located in the South of the Church of Praia da Luz, so you might want to book a table to ensure place. The room is cosy and friendly service. The "Kashmiri", comes with the sauce of dried fruits, is one of the specialities of the House. Be sure to taste the "Balti" or the "Pashmira", a dish with sweet and sour onions. The wines are not the forte da casa. Already beer is much in demand by customers.

The views to the west, when the coast is clear, show the wide Atlantic ocean.
