After undergoing a full refurbishment in 2016, aTASCAdo reopened to quickly establish itself as one of Alvor’s most popular restaurants. His unique ambience is a winning combination of its characterful décor, attentive service and excellent regional food made from fresh local produce. The menu is designed to showcase typical Algarvian cuisine using only the best locally-sourced products, finished off with homemade sweets.

The Casa de Pasto Algarve is a typical restaurant, situated right next to the market of fish and fresh seafood. Just for that, I guess the specialties. Raia mess of Olhão, the stylish genuine cataplana or fillets (fresh) of hake with tomato rice are some of them. To start the meal, Razor Clams to Bouillon Goose will be a surprise. To top it off there are several meal options. A "three in one" or a "good time" are right choices.

This is a museum dedicated to Christopher Columbus and his presence in Porto Santo, highlighting period furniture, engravings of Christopher Columbus, reproductions of clothing from that time, and a series of manuscripts, including the logbook of his 3rd voyage. This fortress was built by Sancho I, having been restored during the reign of King Dinis. The castle remains, at present, the keep with twinned Windows and crowned by battlements polygonal. Over the centuries this site received several fortifications.
