The "Centro Cívico" (Civic Centre) is located by the Ferreira Monastery, a national monument that dates back to the 12th century. It has also a pedestrian walk, tree areas and a large glade with a view of the monastery with a picnic area and a children's playground. The Centre is composed of two buildings, one with an auditorium for 126 people and a stage, and another with a bar and a terrace.
