The bridge dates from the 1st century, and the walls from the 3rd or 4th century.

Chapel dating from the mid-18th century, presenting a rectangular plant, a facade with a door of van straight framed between pilasters. Above the door is a window on the roof and polylobulated eyepiece, a small bell tower surmounted by a cross. In the interior, especially the barrel vault coverage painted with scenes from the life of Christ, and to the main altar, dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Inaugurated in 2005, with the aim of promoting and preserving the local culture, this space includes pieces of sacred art that were part of the Museum of Sacred Art of Gouveia, a small collection of Cardinal Mendes Belo and the stone of the Synagogue of Gouveia, dating from 1496. In the main room there is a small photo library with photographs of Gouveia from the 1930s and 1940s by João Carvalho and César Nogueira.

A grand 16th-century building built on two earlier structures from the 10th/11th and 13th centuries, traces of which remain in the apse and apsidioles. It preserves a niche of Visigothic decoration. The main façade features a square portico with a semicircular pediment from the Mannerist Reformation and two four-story towers, each with slits and topped by a Baroque bell tower.

Building built in the 11th century was restored between 1490 and 1510. It features a Manueline style with a naturalistic character, already influenced by the Renaissance. Outside, the highlight is the door on the side wall, which has some Moorish influence.

The church dates back to the 17th century, with a single nave and a façade in Joanine Baroque style. Inside, the images and ceiling of the main altar stand out, with 36 paintings of saints and other sanctified symbols of martyrs from the early church. The oil paintings, by master Jerónimo da Cunha, date from the 18th century. Also, noteworthy is the gilded carving.

Sanctuary in honor of Saint Benedict, from where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the entire Serra do Gerês mountain range. The chancel and altar are dedicated to this saint, a cult that dates back to the mid-18th century. The sanctuary hosts the main pilgrimage from August 10 to 15, and other festivities on March 21 and July 11.
