A beach nestled in a beautiful cliff, which over the years has become increasingly popular with young people due to a music festival held annually in August. The sand is protected from strong winds by two cliffs that descend to the sea. The sand is divided by the mouth of the Zambujeira River. It's a good area for extreme sports.

It was named after the watermills that once stood on the cliffs. There isn't really a beach, just a natural saltwater pool framed by a beautiful landscape. The existing restaurants are traditional and offer good food, specializing in fish and seafood dishes.
