Founded in the 17th century, its history has been, for more than three centuries, the history of the estate and its owners linked to nobility. The set consists of sunny building, the chapel of St. Joseph (founded in 1633, has, in its interior, 1468 and fabric of the main altar, painted in oil by Bento coelho da Silveira), facilities of agricultural character (Winery and barns) and space of gardens (with a moth geometrizing cold), a home and a source of great artistic interest rocaille.

This is the last beach on the West Coast. On the road leading to the lighthouse, there is a plaque with the indication of beach. Between tar and straight on dirt paths to tear up fields of great natural beauty, the Praia do Telheiro. Domestic and foreign surfers are regulars of this site. Located in the Centre of Seia, the Toy Museum was opened in 2002 and features a collection of about 8000 toys of Portugal and in the world, from past to present. The Museum was born with the intention of valuing a period of life that is critical to the overall development of human beings: the childhood. Is aim of this museum space enhancing the playful activity and the right to play, preserving memories, customs and beliefs of ancient times and today. Still plays an important role in the consolidation of cultural ties between Portugal and the world.

This church is already mentioned in documents dating from 1220, as an integral part of the patronage of the Monastery of Santa Maria de Pombeiro. However, the current building has features of later Gothic influence, even though Romanesque construction was used. The chapel was probably built in the 13th century, when King Mendo de Sousa moved to Vila Verde. Today, evidence of frescoes by Mestre Arnaus can still be seen in the chancel, as weel as the plasterwork decorated with paintings in the nave.

A library located in a beautiful 18th century building, which is a dynamic cultural space. Reading in the open air, the pedagogic kitchen garden, the odours garden and a space specifically dedicated to children, the "tale hour", stand out.
