The historic center of Abrantes is characterized by houses with facades decorated with geraniums or hollyhocks. The chapel in the village of fifths, dedicated to our Lady of health has, in the main façade, a rectangular portal, flanked by two glasses, and in stretching the Ridge a belfry with triangular shot surmounted by a cross. Inside the chapel stands the high altar in gilt, placed on the wall of the headboard, which houses religious imaginary. This is the chapel which is celebrated the mass of the feast in honour of our Lady of health.

Formerly a dependency of the Arouca Monastery, to receive conventual income, Casa da Tulha is part of the Municipal Museum, being its current museum nucleus. The inscription, of 1760, places its construction in the 18th century. With an interesting general appearance, it is the portal – topped by fires and a cross – that takes center stage in this architectural piece. Visits to Casa da Tulha must be booked at the Municipal Museum.
