Cabeço das Cabras constitutes the final frontier between the adventurous who set out for the mountain and the more fearful who prefer the safety of the road. Located at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters, on the western slope of Pico Mountain, it is the highest point on the island accessible by car. From here, one can see the entire island of Faial and the vast blue sea.

Built on a hill overlooking the river, human occupation of this area dates back to the Iron Age. It allowed control of the river port that connected it to the sea and protected the population from enemy attacks. A vast walled area, two towers reinforce its defenses. From its walls, one can see the plain and the series of hills leading to Monte Clérigo beach.

Seventeenth-century House, with residential architecture, which features irregular L-shaped plant. The entry is made by yard. The second floor is 19th in wood and taipa. The reconstruction of this House was built in the 17th century. The main Division is the inscription with the date 1622 surrounded by inscriptions with human figures. You can see the ancient animal feed sinks and an oven in ruins on the terrace.

Former palace built in 1599, with a rectangular plan, with two floors and two bodies and a central courtyard, owned by the Matos Azambuja family. It later became the property of the Hintze Ribeiro family and, in 2007, it was sold. Inside you can see murals from the period of Queen Maria I, 19th-century marblework and wallpaper from the late 18th century.

Located in the town's historic area, more precisely in the old Town Hall, the museum has two sections. In the Archaeology section, you can see archaeological finds that marked human presence in the municipality, from the Mirense period, the Bronze Age, and the Muslim occupation. The Ethnography section houses a collection of agricultural implements. The Municipal Art Gallery is located in the same building.

The campsites piao, located a few kilometres from the Centre of Covilhã, is in close proximity to the Serra da Estrela. Once in the Park can also see the tower. This is definitely a great starting point for exploring the paths and pedestrian routes, a unique opportunity to meet the people and the culture of this region. Enjoy still to visit the bridge of Degorda and the Romanesque church of St. Martin.

A beach located on the Ribeira da Sertã river, which divides the newer and older parts of the town. From this location, you can see part of the historic area. The riverbanks are connected by three bridges over the reservoir. Given the beach's potential, it boasts several attractions: a swimming pool, a first aid station, a picnic area, a children's playground, and a playground.

Hotel located in the Bay of Fanal, a five-minute walk from the historic centre and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has two tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, healthclub, jacuzzi, hairdresser, shops, bar, babysitting service and infirmary. All rooms have views over Monte Brazil and over the sea.

Initially, this House served as agricultural production site of Benedictine monks, founders of the monastery of Rendufe. The House was completely refurbished in 2010, to offer all the comfort, coupled with the contact with the nature. Part of a complex where there are agricultural cellar, winepress and eira, plus organic vegetable garden and animals, has five cosy rooms and an outdoor pool.

This is one of the rock art sites in the Valley of the Coa, forming a rare set of this type of art, essentially composed of stone engravings dated from the Upper Paleolithic. This core consists of a natural shelter under rock, where we find anthropomorphous motifs very delicate schematics and blemishes that do not define figures painted in red.
