The Château de Fraião constituted a significant example of Romanesque fortress, but not adapted in the Gothic era. Thus, when from the beginning of the 13th century all the regional strategic interest shifted to the line of the river Minho-especially to Valença and Monsoon-was sidelined. Currently, only remains of the Castle a granitic suite, which provides magnificent views of the Minho Valley.

Monumental set where the transition from the tower-housing to the fortified palace with courtyard and attached outbuildings is clear, built on a Roman villa and integrated into the Portuguese Way of Santiago, traced over the old Roman road. Below the tower are the remains of the villa's atrium, with its mosaics. It has an interpretation center, a Manueline chapel and a store selling regional products.

This museum brings together a collection of sacred art, made up of several pieces linked to the religious life of the population, including a baptismal font produced by artisans from Lagoa, and the image of Nossa Senhora da Ajuda. The ethnography collection is made up of reproductions of typical Micaelense housing and some objects linked to the region's traditional activities.

Open since 2011 in the parish of Peraboa, it allows visitors to learn about the manufacturing process of the famous Serra da Estrela cheese, one of the hallmarks of this region. Through a route enriched with 2D and 3D projections, visitors discover everything involved in the production of Serra cheese, from how it was made in the past to modern methods. At the end, there is a cheese tasting.

Dating from the late 18th century, it is a really nice place, perhaps the most beautiful of the region. The rooms are majestic, especially the Archbishop's room, where you can sleep in a four-poster bed Dom João V in lignum vitae. In the other four rooms can see various pieces of family. Situated in the Centre of the Algarve, between Porches and Armação de Pêra, Casa Bela Moura is a nice recent building housing inspired by the architecture of the region, situated a few metres from praia da Senhora da Rocha. The name "Palácio de São Lourenço" refers to a monumental ensemble that comprises the Fortress, begun in the first half of the 16th century and completed in the Philippine period, and the Palace itself, comprising the halls on the noble floor dating from the last quarter of the XVIII century and the interior gardens. Currently, it is the official residence of the Minister of the Republic for the Madeira Autonomous Region.
