A protected area located between the Douro and Tagus rivers, southwest of Sabugal. It measures 25 kilometers long and 2.5 kilometers wide, reaching its highest point at 1,000 meters above sea level. It is full of ravines and streams, with the Côa River, the Meimoa Stream, and the Bazágueda Stream originating here. Among the flora, holm oaks and cork oaks, oaks and strawberry trees, leafy hogweed, gorse, sargassum, hazel, wild oak or wild cherry, ancient chestnut trees, and cork oaks stand out. This trail begins and ends near the chapel of Santo António, being effected through a descent way of standing desk, great part in ancient stone staircase. Along the descent we enjoy a magnificent view over the Fajã de Besides, Fajã do Ouvidor, Fajã da Ribeira da Areia and in days of good visibility over the Islands Third and graceful.

Franciscan chapel founded in 1677, integrating the architectural ensemble of the Santo António Convent. In the 18th century, the walls were covered with tiles from the workshop of Vital Rifarto. The Casa do Despacho dates from 1682, with the sacred way being added to the outer walls in the 18th century. This architectural ensemble is well preserved, showing sobriety on the outside but a great wealth on the inside.

Indoor skydiving is the perfect way to experience skydiving in a safe and controlled environment. One minute of flight is equivalent to a descent from an altitude of 4 kilometers. Also known as ruins of Santiago, it was initially a Roman villa with origins from the 1st century, altered in the first half of the 2nd century and destroyed in the 4th century, to make way for the building visible today. In the Middle Ages it was the Convent of the Military Order of Santiago, having been abandoned in the 16th century. The central body is framed by two symmetrical turrets that give it great monumentality.
