This lovely house is situated in the middle of the protected area and surrounding the Peneda-Gerês National Park, one of the 7 natural wonders of Portugal, on the left bank of the river Cávado Caniçada-Albufeira. Both the House and the outside you can enjoy the wonderful views over the Serra do Gerês, Caniçada reservoir, the shrine of St. Benedict the open door and the Rio Caldo-Geres bridges.

House dating from the 16TH century, located about two kilometres of Fundão, in Cova da Beira, between the Serra da Gardunha and Estrela. It offers nine rooms and a suite, well equipped and comfortable rooms, a lounge\/bar with an open fireplace, a living room with a library and a games room. Constitutes, by its location, a great choice of stay for lovers of winter sports.

This House, dated 1794 (date inscribed in a portal of entry), has this designation due to having been headquarters of the Portuguese Legion. Later, worked as a place of meetings of the parish and, on the second floor, as ballroom. After being abandoned for 30 years, was rehabilitated in 2002 and opened to the public in 2005. Has a games room, a wine cellar\/tasting room, two terraces and an interior patio.

This sculpture of King Dom Afonso Henriques, situated at one end of the Largo João Franco, soon after entering through the gates of the village, was opened in 2001 in the commemorations of the day 24 June municipal holiday in the city of Guimarães. To carry out this work, the author João Cutileiro was inspired by the books of primary statement of the 1940, where the first King of Portugal was represented with an amount.

The church is due to King Sebastião who, by charter of 1571, ordered it to be built. It is a temple with a tripartite facade, with a galilee opening in the central body. The lateral bodies are made up of imposing bell towers. Interior of three naves with round arcades and stone pilasters. The Baroque carved altars, the Estremoz marble altarpiece and Mannerist paintings from the end of the 16th century deserve special attention.

Factory opened in 1884 by brothers Antonio and Manuel Guerreiro Pleasures, with a small production of raw flour. Later, the company grew and began to manufacture fine bran flours too and Pollard. In 1963, the grinding was transferred to a new building, getting this to work as bakers, feed mill and headquarters administrative services. Em1985 was acquired by a larger company, having been closed permanently in 1991.

Small dimensions temple that we can include already in the Gothic period, although of possible previous foundation. Simple façade, where a portal with a broken arch opens, with two archivolts, the interior being decorated with spheres. Despite the sobriety of the building, with few spans and heavy verticality, the interior features one of the most important mural painting from the 15th century preserved in Portugal.

The Church of San Isidoro is one of the most interesting and best preserved testimonies to Romanesque of the current municipality of Marco de Canaveses. This church, together with that of Tabuado, standardizes the Romanesque Lower Tâmega, both in the Organization of space as in the arrangement of the elevations, in the typology of openings and in like rank in rosettes. This church conserves one of the most interesting murals produced in Portugal in the first half of the 16th century.

São João de Alporão church is a temple from the 12th century and it appeared under the political – religious fight contexts during the Christian Reconquest. This is a singular temple by the way it associates the Gothic style and the Romanic style. On the interior it stands out the fourteen hundreds tombstone from Dom Duarte de Menezes. Nowadays the church is open to the public as a Museum for Temporary Exhibitions.

Moorish patch consists of a large granite monolith that form a large cavity with rounded surface. The only opening is facing This, namely to the Cávado. This site brings together all the features to have been a potential shelter of human population, in various stages of prehistory, however, will require archaeological work demonstrating the occupation of the site. It is a large shelter, very protected from the weather with a water line.
