Here one preserves sites and natural elements that are unique and vulnerable. It is a scientific research place that keeps genetical sources and preserves the environments and natural ecosystems that have not been populated.

A river beach bathed by the Alviela River, it offers services such as a playground, picnic area, sports field, fitness trail, and more. The Alviela Springs Interpretation Center is located here.

House dedicated to the Italian cuisine, with a nice esplanade in front of the river. It is attended mostly by young people that found here a place where you eat well at affordable prices.

A dense, verdant forest, considered representative of the primeval forest. There is also a trout hatchery here. During the summer, car traffic is restricted, as it is considered the only "virgin" forest in Portugal.

The trail passes through the restored village of Pia do Urso, a place full of history with its typical mountain dwellings. It is here that the Sensory Ecopark, designed for the blind, is located.

Located in a fairly high spot, in the heart of the Serra de Montagraço mountain range, from here it is possible to appreciate a beautiful landscape that stretches across a vast valley to the Atlantic.

With a modern and innovative design, this two storey healthclub with 3,200 m2 area includes cardiovascular equipment and weight training, group classes and various forms of gymnastics, swimming and holistic, as well as monitoring of personal trainers. The space also features Zensations SPA, restaurant\/bar and Holmes Place Shopping Mall. Situated close to the Parc des expositions de Aveiro and the future Parque da Cidade de Aveiro.

The main façade stands over a landing where one arrives from a stairway, under which there is passing water. One should notice the three stonework portals with a straight rod in architrave, the taller middle one, with an interrupted triangular gable, a cruxifix and forged iron gratings. Inside, one should pay close attention to the sculptured panel and to the side walls with blue painted wood.

17th century palace, built by Miguel Pais Amaral. It features a façade cut by wide pilasters and two rows of windows with lintels decorated with "Rocaille" style motifs. It has an emblazoned door and, above, a balcony with stone balusters that serve as protection for the main floor door. The south façade has a double veranda with round arches and an original staircase. Also noteworthy is the chapel invoking Saint Bernard.

The construction of the primitive church was initiated at th end of the 17th century. Considred insufficient for all the faithful that came by, it was enlarged from the middle of the 18th century until the first decades of the 19th century, at which time the façade was finished. The tiles on the walls of the main chapel and the vault, reconstructed after the earthquake of 1755, are of the 18th century. One should pay close attention to the interior with rococo sculptures.
