Is an area that deserves highlight by familial but also by some dishes coming out of the kitchen: migas, Alentejo pork with shrimp, cod and grilled Octopus to the fisherman.

Placed close to the Gulbenkian, this house offers a friendly service and good traditional Portuguese cuisine. Excellent wine list, with the Alentejo wines standing out.

Celorico de Basto Station is the central hub of the Tâmega Line Ecopista. Here, you can visit an interpretive center and learn about the history of the Tâmega Line. Built on the canal of the decommissioned railway line, it is intended for pedestrians and cyclists.

The trails along the mountain, where one should visit the Leijido brook, the belvedere, the eolic park of Pena Suar with views of the village of Covelo do Monte, the deactivated mines of Fonte Figueira (Pedrado) and the belvedere of Our Lady of Moreira.

A small village near the source of the Olhos de Água springs. The church, dating from the early 16th century, and the estate of the former Morgados do Alviela are worth a visit. The handicrafts, especially woodwork, rugs, and rag quilts, are notable.

The Professor's House has a gym, with study rooms, supported by teachers trained in several areas. This space provides numerous additional events to school activity of students. Also offers sports and recreational activities, study visits or study tours.

This environmental education centre, located in the Natural Park of Ria Formosa, provides all the information about this park, in addition to release additional environmental oriented entities. Here we can visit exhibitions, attend workshops and show movies.

Old manor located seven kilometers from Elvas, in a quiet place and with plenty of vegetation. The visit to the fountain, the garden and the chapel are mandatory. The decoration of the interior spaces is markedly alentejana, fact that makes this House even more cozy and appealing.

Thanks to the meticulous work of José Franco, it is possible to visit one of the most authentic "villages" in the world. Its particularity is that it is small, full of details, such as the reproduction of an elementary school or the grocery store where Aunty Helena serves a glass of wine.

This museum, located on the second floor of the library's building, houses am archaeological collection from the surrounding areas. The collection is well documented and well disposed in a small room. There is also a nice educational paper for school visits and groups of children.
