Cabeço das Cabras constitutes the final frontier between the adventurous who set out for the mountain and the more fearful who prefer the safety of the road. Located at an altitude of approximately 1,200 meters, on the western slope of Pico Mountain, it is the highest point on the island accessible by car. From here, one can see the entire island of Faial and the vast blue sea.

Fajã designates a flat terrain of cultivation set right on the seafront. Fajã da Baía da Ribeira das Cabras is a place of rare beauty where the steep cliffs hiding a small cluster of white houses and their farmland that end, barreling, next to the sea in rock cuttings and dark sand. A unique harmony between man and nature, which still subsists in the North of the island of Faial.

The Pier restaurant of the Villa is located in a former warehouse of the railways, in a historic building with more than one hundred years, highlighting the creativity and innovation, combining the harmony between the ancient and the modern. Decorating reigns the glamour of dark tones, wood, mirrors and large Windows. Divided into gourmet restaurant, winehouse and wine cellar. On winehouse is still possible to enjoy a menu with tapas, pizzas, sandwiches and desserts.

The Chalet Restaurant Vincent, in Funchal, confeciona traditional Portuguese food with prices ranging between 20 and 30 euros. One of the strengths of the restaurant's oven, where dishes like lamb and suckling pig are produced, without forgetting the more than 300 wines which are at the disposal of the client.

Mikdad da Costa Victorino is an Impressionist painter, pupil of Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, whose works are in several national museums. He died at his home, the March 23, 1969, having the building entered into degradation, being recently reclaimed by the Town Hall of Sertã, which turned him into a cultural space.

16th century Church consists of nave, chancel, baptistery, sacristy, belfry and sanitary facilities. The façade is painted white and features, above the door, a stained-glass window and an oculus, for where to enter part of the light. Inside, one of the highlights go to the font of the late 16th century and the main altarpiece of the neoclassical style.

Upon entering the room of the Apuradinho, sit down as soon as the atmosphere is cosy. The menu highlights the flavors of traditional Portuguese cuisine, mainly, the hunting grounds. The Monday recently a plate of cod always different; Thursday, biweekly, is the day set aside to Cozido à Portuguesa. Finally, a sweet conventual to choose from.

The changes made by the architect Souto Moura at the former Alfândega (customs) building gave the place another aspect. This exhibition aims to allow the public to know, generally, the communication and transports contribute in these days. One of the big attractions of this museum is the permanent exhibition: “O automóvel no espaço e no tempo” (history of the car).
