A filigrana é a arte portuguesa de trabalhar o fio de ouro ou de prata. Há dois tipos de filigranas: a de aplicação e a de integração (joias). As peças mais características têm a forma de coração, Cruz de Malta, alfinetes medalhas, brincos, caravelas, entre outros. Estes adornos fazem parte do traje feminino de Entre Douro e Minho, tendo esta atividade passado de pais para filhos.

The milestone, one of the testimonies of the Antiquities of Oliveira de Azeméis, was found during the demolition of the Church of Ul, in the late 18th century. In 2001, the restaurant, with a strong influence of haute cuisine, won its first Michelin star that it still holds today.
