This church has a single nave and a lower, narrower chancel. The façade is decorated with curved pediments, volutes, four-lobed oculi, plant carvings, pinnacles, baluster balconies, and finials. The high altar is gilded and features Solomonic columns in the national style. A highlight is the Dispatch Room (or the Meeting Room of the Mercy Table), which is supported by columns.

This museum, built in the 1970s in the so-called Casa dos Távora, moved in the following decade to the former jail and then to the City Hall building. Among the many objects on display, the collections of metal objects, porcelain dolls, linen utensils, and paintings stand out.

A village situated in a scenic area, it boasts rustic granite houses scattered along irregular, winding streets. The population is dedicated to subsistence farming, which is predominant in the area. Cattle, chestnuts, and other agricultural products are the main source of local income. Located on a granite outcrop in the Aguiar Valley, there is a rock castle dating back to the 9th century. Interestingly, it is worth noting the existence of a music band, some 200 years old, composed of residents of the village and neighboring towns.
