The campsite of Berlenga Island, situated on a hillside, enjoys a splendid location, with direct access to the crystal-clear sea. Certainly you will be surprised with the tranquility of everyday life of this park, which is today one of the parks most sought after by foreign tourists.

Explore the Ribeira de Quelhas on foot, as it's not accessible by car. And thankfully, it's a true feast of nature, encompassing shale ravines of unique beauty. The variety of trees is extensive: Portuguese oaks, holly, strawberry trees, and chestnut trees. Enjoy the song of the jays.

The church of Saint Jorge, the mother church and the church of Our Lady of Conceição are well worth a visit. The Town Hall, the Portão do Mar (Sea's Gate) and the Museum of Religious Art are also imposing.

18th century building of simple rectangular plant, with two floors, where formerly operated the chain, on the lower floor, and the Town Hall, on the top floor. There was a previous to this chain, probably dating from the 16TH century, which ran until the 18th century. In 1885, the building started to function as primary school, into the 21st century, when it was transformed into a museum.

Probably, this building was part of the Town Hall, under the Windows of the elevations and the murals on the second floor. On the first floor is a former olive oil mill, made according to the Witness, Italian master model, whom the farmers of Evora asked what came, to better the quality of olive oil and using the best German and Portuguese machinery, made in Lisbon.
