Building dating from the 16th century, erected on a previous building, which left the so-called erotic dogs, we reveal the secrets of medieval bed. The Távoras, warden of the castle of Miranda, have resided here between 1385 and 1795.

Baroque manor in L, with two floors, surrounded by a grating wall, which bounds a lovely garden. Inside are worth notice the stairs, the arcs and baroque decoration. The name of this manor id owe to the fact that, in times, there used to be a public way here.

Noble House with a rectangular plant Mannerist willing lengthwise and two floors. It was built between 1720 and 1723, working initially as a residence. In 1926 it was here opened the Museum Municipal de Viana do Castelo, with space being extended in 1990.

Building of 16th century origin composed of irregular rectangular plant, with three floors, being the main façade the longest. Suffered successive renovations and therefore has features of Manueline architecture, Baroque and Gothic Revival. In 1996 was inaugurated here a hostels.

Today only traces in ruins, which are not easily detetáveis, given its integration into the urban fabric of the town. In the 16th century was built here the Chiesa Madre (mother church), with five buttresses; has Watch Tower dating back to 1798.

Museum created in 2003, during the transfer of Aldeia da Luz, as a result of its submersion by the Alqueva dam. The collections on display here are ethnographic and archaeological in nature. It has three rooms: the Luz room, the Memory room and a temporary exhibition room.

Located in the village of Montesinho, in the Natural Park, this rustic and cosy House is a great starting point for those who want to discover the natural wonders of the area. Here you can do hiking, all-terrain or by bike, among other activities.

This monument, with a bronze bust, was open in 1926, by Tomás da Costa, in the former Cordoaria Garden, today João Chagas Garden. Here, the work of the poet called “Só” is quoted. It is made with flowers’ bouquets and a lyre allegoric to its poetical inspiration.

Ancient fortress with a triangular plan, built in the 18th century to defend Machico beach, crossing fire with the fort of São João do Desembarcadouro. It is part of the typology of 17th century Iberian bastioned forts. Currently, a tourist office operates here.

The first reference to this church emerges in 1302. Features murals from the 14th century and was the seat of a parish with the same name and was open to the cult until 1863. Here also works the interpretive center of the Castle, being possible to make guided tours.
