Fortified settlement of little breadth, located in the same row of the castros de Vilarinho de Negrões and Morgade, dominating, together, the whole valley of Rabagão. Retains a thick wall, surrounding the mound, and that in some points is about five feet thick. Inside, there are traces of buildings. At the top of Mount was placed a high tension pole cut partially to wall. East side access would be easier, and it is this location which will have built a moat, of which traces still remain.

Classified as Property in the public interest is one of the most beautiful cruises. Have a platform in granite, with two steps, plinth, with faces decorated, has at the top inscribed "PASSIO DOMINI NOSTRI JESUS\/\/CERESTI THIS IF F\/MDCCLXXVI". The column ends in composite capital surmounted by a globe crowned by a cross, where stands out the iconography of sculptural representations that there are, on the front face a Pieta and the rear face, facing the chapel of Nossa Senhora da Saúde, the figure of San Antonio with the boy.

The Capelinhos lighthouse was completed in 1903, after works that took over nine years. Its primary function was maintained until 1957, when it was the eruption of the volcano. From that date was in ruins. Consists of a rectangular body of two floors (one of which buried) and a central octagonal tower. Their retraining and integration into the interpretation centre of Capelinhos volcano allows, nowadays, the ascent to its central tower from where you have a unique view on the rugged volcanic landscape.

The Church of the monastery of Fráguas is a simple Temple moth, a single nave with Ashlar walls, open in a narrow facade and with barrel vault ceiling. Reference still on the Church Bell. The Church has a Bell Tower, of archaic trait, with square cutout where open two Bell faced at mid-height on the cornice around. Inside the church there is a frameset to the taste and style of the artists of Viseu. If not, at least, the workshop of Vasco Fernandes, have affinities with Grão Vasco and belong to the school of Viseu.

Located practically on one of the banks of the Tagus River, the Parish Church of Valada is very old, probably dating back to 1211. It has undergone several renovations over the years, the last of which took place at the beginning of the 20th century. The façade is of Mannerist religious architecture, with an angular gable and a bell tower. Inside, the 16th-century baptismal font stands out, without a shaft or base, while the nave walls have 19th-century patterned tiles.

The Church of São Miguel, which was elevated to the rank of Cathedral in 1956, is located in an area where, since 1213, there are traces of a temple, which would have belonged to the Templars. It was rebuilt in the Renaissance style in the 17th century, although elements from the various construction stages are visible, such as the 16th-century transept, the 17th-century altarpieces or the 18th-century chancel. It has only one nave, separated from the chancel by a Renaissance arch, and the façade has few ornaments.
