The Neighborhood is the latest city of Aveiro space dedicated to the retro spirit. Markedly traditional, but with a dash of modernity, in the Neighborhood the Chef Tiago Santos reinvents some of the most typical dishes in a fusion of traditional and contemporary cuisine.

Located by the city's seashore avenue, this may bee the ideal place for a traditional Portuguese meal. With a simpkle and effective service, the restaurant has the best of the Azores islands. Good glass beer and good wine list.

A garden built in 1871, shaded by centuries-old trees, providing pleasant moments of leisure. In the center stands the statue of Camilo Castelo Branco, and in the background a fountain. This space offers a fantastic view of part of the city.

With around 75,000 hectares, it is one of the largest protected natural areas in Portugal and a must-see for anyone arriving in this region where nature has been very generous. The Serra de Montesinho is characterized by its rounded hills and the valleys the Sabor, Maçãs and Baceiro Rivers. The fauna is varied and rich, with emphasis on the presence of wolves, deer, roe deer, nesting birds, amphibians and reptiles. There are signposted walking paths that are a great way to get in touch with the vast biodiversity.

At lunch the environment is informal but at night the room gets intimate and sophisticated contours. Still, thanks to the simplicity of the decor and the friendliness of the staff, is an unassuming and pleasant space. The menu consists of dishes from traditional base, interpreted in contemporary and creative way for lovers, the tomato soup with egg is a well established option. Also try the crab puff or feathers with Apple risotto. All well cooked, well presented and delicious! Special note to the wine cellar and the variety of wines by the glass.

The Adega do Ermitão, in Guimarães, for 40 years under the management of Armindo Monteiro, Guimarães, yolk the Hermit's cellar is a rustic place, very simple, where you expect in line to order and take to the table snacks involved in bakery paper. Stay under rocks, in the Monte da Penha, and gained fame by the unique location and the gastronomic offer: ball of sardines or meat, warm, delicious cod cakes and homemade green broth, just get it out of the pan.

This small circular route starts and ends in the central Garden of Prainha do Norte. Right at the beginning the trail passes through small agricultural fields until the path of Ribeira de Nossa Senhora, a cluster of houses, many of them abandoned, located across the river that accompanies the path. After the route is developed along the coast, passing through the sand Bay, the only sandy beach of the island.

The Hotel do Templo is located at Monte do Bom Jesus, Braga, one of the first neoclassical buildings in the country, right next to the shrine.
