This mountain range is located between the Açor and Sicó mountains, southwest of Coimbra, on the border with the district of Leiria. In the village with the same name, is hidden Praia da Figueira. Although there are plates, automobile access is limited, duly signposted. From a certain point, there is a narrow path to a few meters to the beach. This is flat, without oscillations and very quiet. Looking at the top of the cliff can be seen traces of a 16th-century fortification. Great for sea baths.

The Teófilo Braga garden, paying homage to the poet, writer and teacher with the same name, is also known by Parada Garden for being the former yard of the quarter parade. The statue paying homage to the feminine popular rebellion of Maria da Fonte, placed in the garden in 1920, is the origin of its other name, besides Campo de Ourique for it is the only one in this area. At the beginning of the decade the garden was recovered, equipped with new fittings and keeping some patrimonial elements. It is a tree area with two lakes and a playground.

Opened in 1926, is located in the city centre, very close to downtown pedestrian shopping, opposite the River Mondego and Santa Clara. The building is one of the architectural symbols of the city, where they combine elegance, comfort and refinement of the service. It has a famous restaurant called "L'amphitryon", where you can sample delicious regional specialities.

The only covered area open to the public allows, in its 1187 hectares of forest, contact with countless animal species. The Cerco garden surrounds the building, covering an area of 8 hectares, and works as a transition element between the monument and Tapada de Mafra. The central pond, the water wheel and the small lakes are worth mentioning.

House of irregular rectangular plan with three floors, with openings in full arch or polylobed, profusely decorated with geometric motifs and stylized plant motifs. It features stonework corbels, decorated with anthropomorphic and vegetal motifs. Highlight for the monumental 16th century semi-detached window. It is also known as Palácio dos Távoras, marquises of Gouveia.
