Small and cosy house with a bedroom, living room and kitchen. This was the place where boys and girls of the village would spin wool on winter nights, making for fun and dating. Patio has in common with the House of Knights.

At the Penedo da Saudade, on of the most romantic spots of Coimbra, there is a place called the “retiro dos Poetas” (the poets retreat), where are several effigies of famous Portuguese, among which the Eça de Queirós effigy.

A church where the wedding of Dom Manuel Dona Maria, a Spanish princess, daughter of the Catholic king and queen, took place. It has an interesting manuelin window. It currently houses the Municipal Museum Pedro Nunes.

This is a Milestone with a rococo architecture built by orders of Queen Dona Maria I to mark the miles from the Royal road starting in Lisbon. In this monument one stands out the sun watch placed in the milestone base.

Here, at the Mesquita site, José Vicente de Brito, a São Paulo poet, was born and lived. In his memory, a verse of his was placed in Poço Velho. The site honors the poet, who died in 1957.

Also known as Moorish fountain, this place is loaded with symbolism, since it is that, in bygone days, there was over there many enchanted Moorish and many Moors. Formerly, this fountain served as a leisure space of inhabitants, still function today.

Baroque manor house consisting of a large central body with a double arcade and two symmetrical staircases that run perpendicular to the facade. Integrated into this building is a medieval tower, square in plan and crowned with battlements, placed in the center.

Saint John's chapel used to stand here but, as the village grew larger, it was moved to the Largo da Carvalha Cimeira. This tower, where the popular parties in August take place, was built as a tribut to the ancient chapel.
