This street, as well as others in Pedrógão, present a type of construction unusual in Alentejo. Here, perhaps taking advantage of the geological characteristics of the place or the surrounding area, some houses are built with large stone blocks as an integral part of the construction, thus creating a very attractive and interesting setting.

More than a loom factory, this is a space of stories and memories, a space for the design and production of burel, the most traditional woolen fabric of the Serra da Estrela wool industry. In this factory, you can see 19th-century machines that still work and see the pieces that are produced here.

Grandfather's House is located in the village of casal Novo, in the municipality of Arganil, in the middle of the Serra do Açor. Here you will find absolute silence, quietness and privacy, in an environment surrounded by the magnificent landscapes that the Rocks of Fajão and the river Ceira offer. The House consists of four pleasant rooms.

Located in the Jardim de São Pedro de Alcântara, the view over the city is magnificent. From here you can reach the walls of the Castle of São Jorge, Baixa, Mouraria, Alfama, as far as the Church of Penha de França. There is a tiled map that helps to understand the view.

In this garden we come upon a lake feeding a brook that falls over the copse in cascade. Here you will find various species such as cedars, sequoias, camellias and secular palm-trees. We highlight the Casa do Cisne (Swan House) right in front of a lake with a fountain.

Old House of the people, opened in 1937, with simple rectangular plant and with homogeneous coverage in roof of four waters. Features a unique body, especially in the main façade, stairs that attach to the second floor. At the end of the 20th century, went on to work here the Junta de Freguesia of Penamacor.

This 19th-century house features a main facade with two French doors and a window. This facade opens onto the large kitchen with a fireplace, also accessible through a side door, and a living room that connects to two bedrooms at the back. It was here that General Humberto Delgado was born in 1906.

18th century house originally owned by Don Marco António de Azevedo Coutinho, fidalgo and Secretary of State of Dom João v. architecture features Rococo and is surrounded by a wall whose gate is flanked by busts in Greek style. Currently, works a Spanish Institute here.

This pedagogical farm aims to show to the public, especially the younger ones, the daily life of rural life of Minho. Here we can find various animals, an educational Garden, a greenhouse nurseries, orchards, a field of aromatic and medicinal herbs and has a campsite, a hostel and outdoor pools.

Since Elvas was a military city, its history, from its earliest days to the present day, could not be overlooked. Since 2001, over a hundred military artifacts have been permanently exhibited here, along with several videos depicting significant episodes in Portuguese history.
