An area of approximately 26,000 hectares, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in the cultural landscape category. This region has been producing the world-famous Port wine, among other wines, for over 2,000 years.

This trail starts at Miradouro das Lagoas, passes through Caldeira Seca and Caldeira Branca, providing beautiful views over Fajã Grande. It crosses two reserve areas: Site of Community Interest and Forest Reserve.

Quinta dos Amarelos is tourist village, situated near the rural village of Vaiamonte. Are 11 independent sites, fully equipped rooms, where you can stay. Has swimming pool and various outdoor activities.

Lookout point located on top of a hill, accessing through a dirt path and passing by a small bridge. On this site there is also a chapel with the same name and a cruise. Offering beautiful views of the dam of Alto Cávado and to the neighbouring villages.

This fortress was built by Sancho I, having been restored during the reign of King Dinis. The castle remains, at present, the keep with twinned Windows and crowned by battlements polygonal. Over the centuries this site received several fortifications.

Baroque fountain of trapezoidal plan, integrating a backrest bounded by pilasters and a central source of trapezoidal plan with three cocks. It was built in 1714 by Dom João V, believing that was erected on the site where a Roman source existed.

Very nice and cosy space, with several televisions for watching football and serve various snacks, highlighting the francesinhas. It is very frequented by students, for meeting near the University of Minho. Known to be the sites that serve snacks until late.

This House was founded in 1843 and served as the host site of abandoned children. Had a strategic position along a false door, so if it was recognized the person who abandoned the child. The com objects that functioned were preserved and maintained.

With traces of prehistoric cave paintings and engravings of the Upper Paleolithic and Neolithic times. The human occupation of the site followed, having served as a residence and community plot, with traces of occupation since the Middle Paleolithic. Is classified as a national monument.

This church was built in 1739, as can confirm in the inscriptions of the pulpit and the main altar, the site of an ancient temple. Features a ship separated from the chancel by a triumphal arch, where stands a Baroque carved altarpiece and a rocaille altarpiece.
