The Doutor Domingos Barbosa House was planed by Nicolau Nasoni. It has two huge fronts, which open to a yard separated from the street by a wall decorated with blazonry, a pair of lions and two iris flowers. The chapel, which burned in 1895, has very simple lines, with a masonry portal and an opening on the fronton, composed of a high altar and a sacristy. Two different architectural modules can be viewd here. Inside, one can find a John Paul II tile of the 1980s and a Saint Peter of the 18th century.

This space is dedicated to theater, music, and dance performances. It has three amphitheaters, one of which seats 480 and is open-air, and hosts summer performances. It also features a cultural store, a painting and sculpture gallery where anyone can exhibit their work, a graphic arts and photography workshop, and an audiovisual studio.
