This is one of the doors of the castle of Bragança.

Is one of the four doors of the castle of Évora Monte and is oriented to the West.

This granite gate, located on a wall, has a tile panel on one of the sides where one can read its name and a reference to Dom Afonso V and to its elevation to Namtional Monument. At the medieval time, when there were seven gates, it was meant to serve as a defense of the city. Currently, there are only two gates left: the Soar or Arco dos Malos Gate and the Cavaleiros Gate.

It's one of the gates that gives access to the city, built of white marble. At the top, you can see a niche with a saint, flanked by two towers.

One of the three doors to the Buçaco forest. The Carmelite friars always kept this door closed, and it was only reopened in the 19th century. It underwent renovation work in 1872.

There are two entrance doors to the former village: the door of the village and port of Santarem.

The Portas de Moura were rebuilt in 1867, when they were consecrated to Saint John the Baptist. At the top of the arch there is a passageway, decorated with a characteristic balcony.
