This park is made up of eleven mills located on the banks of the River Ul, where you can watch the bread-making process. This Theme Park combines the water mills present in this region for more than two centuries. It occupies 29 hectares of open space.

The Miguel Torga Space was conceived as a space for art, culture and literature, intended not only to evoke and perpetuate the work of one of the great Portuguese authors of the 20th century, but also to testify to his deep connection to the Douro and Trás-os-Montes and projecting the region’s identity internationally.

Old house restored preserving the traces of regional houses, basaltic stone, combining the tradition with all the comforts of modernity. It has two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen equipped with all you may need. Very close, you will find the bathing area of Varadouro.

Fortress built in the XVII century to protect the city against pirates’ attacks, being enlarged in the XVIII century. It was used with military ends until 1992, year in which it was given to the Regional Government, which turned it into a cultural space, so that now is the Contemporary Art Museum.

Is the region's highest cruise Barroso and was built in 1943 during the commemoration of the Treaty of Zamora. On one side you can see the recording of a Latin text, which reads as follows: "the cross and the bridge, both are Bridges, one crosses the River, other leads to eternal homeland."

Located south of Chaves, between Valpaços and Vila Pouca de Aguiar, the mountain range is part of the Trás-os-Montes Ancient Massif and is 10 kilometers long. From the top, views over the entire region are enjoyed, with highlights including Oura, Vidago, and Vilarinho.

Classed as city's heritage, built by the end of the 19th century, this restaurant belogs to the Acez "Albergaria" and has author's cuisine with typical regional flavours. The space is surrounded by glass windows and one can thus enjoy the beauty of the gardens and of the artificial waterfalls. Luxury yet discrete.

Ample room restaurant, located on the outskirts of Aveiro, very well known in the region for its barbecued chickens (and, incidentally, also known as Guri of Chickens). Their specialties, in addition to the roasted chicken, are the fish, as it should be given its proximity to the ria, and the famous leitão da Bairrada.

Located at the pleasant Palace Hotel da Curia, La Belle Époque has a dining room decorated in the 1920s style with a revivalist atmosphere. The menu is based in regional specialities and traditional Portuguese dishes. A wine list where the famed Bairrada wines stand out.

Facing the Palácio Nacional de Sintra (Sintra's National Palace), the Café de Paris is captivating for its mural paintings and that of the ceilings. It is a refined restaurant, located in a very old house, that serves regional dishes with some author's influences. On Wednesday nights there are fado performances.
