Also known as the field of gender equality, this place stands out for being one of the few traces of Hebrew island. In the first half of the 19th century, several Hebrew families emigrated from Morocco to third, existing at the time several synagogues. The silk industry developed during the reign of Afonso V, with the first factory being established in Vila Viçosa. Silk is woven on wooden looms, similar to those used for wool and linen. Freixo de Espada à Cinta is the only place in the entire Iberian Peninsula where silk is still 100% handcrafted.

The Sá da Bandeira Theatre – initially Teatro-Circo and, after, Teatro do Príncipe Real – was open on August, 4th, 1855, being at the time a wood hut. In 1867 it was destroyed and, at the same place, a stone house was built. A week after the Republic Implantation, in 1910, it was called Teatro Sá da Bandeira.

Romanesque temple built in the 12th century. On the front it has an ornate arch, supported by double columns and capitals. The decoration of the capitals deserves to be highlighted. The main facade is a short distance from the rock mass and was placed in the direction of the slope. Animal designs on the axial portal that signify the guard of the entrance to the temples and their sacred interior.
