Several aquatic amusement park, opened in 1994, only in the North of the country. With a maximum capacity of 1200 people, offering privileged views over the river Tâmega. The amusement equipment available are the following: swimming pool for adults, children's pool, snail, Bobsleigh track, Aqualândia, multiple lanes and fast lanes. There is also a bar, a shop and an infirmary.

The central tank, rectangular in shape, is divided into two areas: one for receiving the 30-meter water slide; another for leisure with a hydraulic shower chair for entry and exit for disabled people. Occupying a total area of 35 hectares, the Biological Park of Vila Nova de Gaia aims to be a center for environmental education, with a pedagogical purpose that involves understanding the landscape of the region and the contrast between the agroforestry landscape and the urban surroundings. Thus, the visitor can contact with hundreds of animal and plant species in the wild. It also has a recovery center for animals found injured or held in captivity illegally, and a plant nursery.

The Vinhais Biological Park aims to preserve, promote and interpret the typical region landscape, offering outdoor experiences such as hiking, donkey rides, wildlife observation and sporting activities. In addition to being a Park, it is also a natural reserve, promoting the protection of the region's fauna and flora, an ecomuseum, conserving and promoting traditional architecture and crafts, and a monument to local culture.

In this park, you can find the most representative autochthonous species of the area, including 150 plant species. You will find deer, wild boar, Serra da Estrela dogs, fallow deer, pheasants, partridges and foxes. In a total area of six hectares, there are marked routes covering an area of about three hectares, allowing visitors to enjoy privileged contact with nature.

Located at the Monsanto Park, this space organizes several didactic and sportive activities created specially for the children, such as parades, theatre, workshops and radical sports. To the grown up, the park offers biology, hydrology, climatology and history exhibitions, among others.

This space is located in the Vasco da Gama Garden and is prepared with amusement equipment to receive children and elderly people with physical and mental disabilities, promoting conviviality between generations.
