This is one of the seven sources located in Sardoal, belonging to the Group of 34 sources that comprise the Route of cats and dogs and Corners. It was built in 1710 and restored in 1969.

Great cascade of cold running water and crystalline that ends in a two source profusely, in granite, with a rectangular sink. The waters of this source flock in the River Zêzere.

This set of two caves is located on the left bank of the Arade river estuary. The biggest of them is 100 metres long and the smallest only a few tens of metres.
