This is one of the busiest river beaches in the region. Located near two typical schist villages, Oliveiras and Pedreira, this beach benefits from the clear waters of the Ribeira de Froia, numerous shady spots, and small waterfalls. During the daytime the tourist train travels through several of the town’s streets. The train makes six stops: the casino, Pescadores beach, Avenida do Rio, the camping site, D. João II street and Hotel Náutico. The journey can be made between 10am and 00:35am and costs 2.50€.

This trail begins at the Forest Park (Troupes of Capelo) and rises slowly until the Cabeço green (volcanic cone with boiler inside). Then proceeds around the cauldron and ends near the Capelinhos Museum. This route crosses three closed areas: Special Protection area, site of Community interest and protected landscape Area.

Quinta da Casa Amarela is located on the left bank of the Douro River, between the cities of Régua and Lamego, in the heart of the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, the Douro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been in the same family since 1885 and produces Port and Douro Designation of Origin wines.
