The picnics area of Odemira is a space with many trees. The tables and the wooden benches are fit for pleasant get-togethers with family or friends.

Former Jesuit College consisting of a simple rectangular plan, developed around two cloisters, with emphasis in the Church Centre. The College was founded in the 18th century and, in 1839, d. Maria II installed here the Court and jail. In the 20th century was also installed at City Hall.

The former jail and "Domus Municipalis," one of the oldest and most emblematic buildings in Praça-Forte, now houses memories of the most significant moments in Valença's history. The archaeological remains, a glimpse into the medieval fortification, and the military heyday of Praça-Forte in the 18th century are the highlights of this center.

A leveled area next to the Tâmega River, without any supporting structures, but very pleasant for a stroll. It is a suitable location for recreational fishing.

Housed in a building that once served as the Town Hall and Municipal Jail, but was destroyed by fire and restored for museum purposes, the Venda Nova Interpretation Centre aims to present monographic exhibitions that study and disseminate the heritage of the municipality, such as the Flax Cycle or the Coats of Arms of the municipality of Ribeira de Pena.
