Largo do Paço restaurant is a unique space in Portugal, astonishes every minute of a meal, which is more than an ode to the palate – a true feast for all five senses. Ensemble constituted by modest houses from the XVIII century and by the church of S.José dos Carpinteiros, rebuilt after the earthquake. Next to the church, with the number 100, is the building that was the last headquarters of the Casa dos Vinte e Quatro.

7 km route starting from the picnic Park of Cabril, ending at the picnic Park of Santo António dos Pesos. Can be done on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, allowing admire the beautiful albufeira do Cabril.

This route starts at the miradouro do Pico from iron and ends in the boilers of Lagoa das Furnas, with a duration of approximately an hour and a half. After passing through the lookout, begins to descend the cliffs, passing by a small watercourse.

This pedestrian trail, about 4700 metres long, begins by the swimming pool and ends in the village's centre. Along the trail there are several belvederes from where one can view the entire village and its surrounding areas.

A village located in the foothill of the Gerês Mountain, in a valey protected from the Cabreira Mountain. It produces green wine and its spaces are almost fully covered by vines. Its inhabitants aer mostly farmers and cattle raisers.

Located between Fonte de Baixo, Gricha, and the medieval Rua da Quintã, this restored building, adapted from an eighteenth-century house belonging to the Penhas family, houses the artistic collection of sculptor Maurício Penha.

After having remained closed for several years, this space was deply remodelled and re-opened in March 2006. It welcomes several cultural activities, from workshops to concerts, theatre plays and performances for the youngest, among others.

The library bears the name of José Tavares Afonso e Cunha, a famed lawyer from Murtosa, who danated his books to the institution, so that they would be preserved. The heritage, a coillection of documents, is currently being digitalized.

Library with over 100,000 volumes, housing the Eduardo Lourenço (3,000 volumes), the Documentary Fund that includes several works from the 18th and 19th century, the local and regional fund, and the estate of Jose Augusto de Castro.
