This is the most well known and attended beach in Porto Santo.The place has excellent conditions, such as the fine sand, the clear, calm and warm sea and the natural beauty of the area.

A famed beach, with lovely sceneries and good conditions. When one arrives in Foz do Arelho, one is most surprised by the meeting of the Óbidos lagoon and the ocean. One may then choose between the turbulent Atlantic waters and the tranquility of the lagoon, excellent for the children. Uniquely beautiful, it is the ideal spot for boat or canoe rides, for fishing and for practising water sports - there is a sailing school and a widsurfing school. There are several restaurants, lots of liveliness at night and street shops.

Located next to a pine forest, is a beach quite crowded and appealing, not longer, however, a quiet, great for rest. There are some areas of concession, the sand is clean. Good bathing zone. There is a small restaurant on the beach.

It can be acceded by boat at a price of 1.60 € but one must take heed in some windy days when the waves may be over two metres tall. Varied restaurants, with a special note to fine shellfish.

A truly beautiful wide stretch of sand that can be acceded only by boat, from Olhão. Quite attended by divers, it has white sands and crystal clear waters. There are quality restaurants that serve a wide variety of shellfish.
