The campsites Penacova, located in the Centre of the country, on the banks of the River Mondego, is the ideal place to enjoy vacation in full nature, in the proximity of the Sierra. A pedestrian trail on the right banks of the Guadiana river. It passes by the ruins of the Ponte da Ajuda (Ajuda Bridge), by the place of Três Moinhos (Three Mills), where one may be visited. Near the final, do visit the Juromenha fortress.

Much transformed over the centuries, the Church of the Savior of Fervença, in Celorico de Basto, still preserves its Romanesque transept and its triumphal arch, as well as some capitals with geometric decoration.
