A very touristy, somewhat rocky beach, located just beyond Porto Covo and directly across from the island that gives it its name. There are several restaurants serving local snacks.

This beach is very well known and popular with national and foreign tourists, with approximately three kilometers of fine and clear sand. The waterfront has a lot of nightlife, many restaurants, bars and a casino.

A small beach where the Boa Nova chapel is located.In this place the famous Tea House of Boa Nova was built, by the architect Siza Vieira (1958-65), that also functions as a restaurant.

A space located at the Alvor beach, all in glass and wood, that functions as a restaurant and as a bar. It has a dining room and a nice terrace. The menu is mostly based on fish and meat grilled dishes.
