The municipality of Carrazeda de Ansiães maintains many aspects of cultural and natural interest that continue to justify a visit, but without a doubt the fact that part of its region is classified as a World Heritage Site - the Alto Douro Wine Region, gives special emphasis to these landscapes. The Douro Route, passing by some of the most important monuments in the municipality (Fountain of Sereias, Pillory, Main Church, Selores House, etc.), through breathtaking landscapes, with the support of high quality gastronomy and wines, represents one of the municipality's ex-libris worthing a visit to appreciate these "pure beauties".

Three dolmens with their supports standing upright, supporting the lid. One of them is known as Moura's House and shows three of the pillars painted with stylized representations of human figures and a snake.

Ruins of the walled town remain from the castle of Carrazeda de Ansiães, including the S. Francisco Door, the Fonte Vedra Door, the S. João and the S. Salvador Door, flanked by two towers, and the Keep. Inside the walls there are remains of buildings, including the Romanesque church of S. Salvador.

Romanesque church with a single nave, highlighting the main facade with a truncated gable, portal with archivolts decorated with phytomorphic and geometric motifs and a profusely decorated tympanum. In the nave there is a small museum nucleus where there are fragments of the pillory of Ansiães and sepulchral stelae decorated with solar symbols, Maltese and Templar crosses and Jewish stars.

Municipal swimming pool with a competition pool and another for children. It has a bench and several changing rooms with lockers. Outside there is a vast grassy area. Of particular note is the use of the Ovar Municipal Swimming Pool by the National Synchronized Swimming Team.

Designed by architect Sidónio Pardal, this green area follows the lines of parks with a romantic and naturalistic tradition, suitable for leisure and socializing. With an area of 7.5 hectares, it consists of tree-lined lawns, bridges and crossings along the bank of the Cáster river. In this museum the story of Ovar and its people is told. Old regional costumes and delicate embroidery, objects related to ancient customs and professions, examples of architecture and interiors of popular houses make up part of the exhibition. Also noteworthy are the hundreds of dolls from many countries and the collection of contemporary paintings and ceramics.
