The Arrimal lagoons are surrounded by calcareous wells. The Lagoa Pequena (Small Lagoon), located by Arrimal, gets the water from its own basin. Both lagoons are surrounded by pyrenean oaks, a species that is rare in this region.

Ideal space to get to know some of the region's gastronomy, whose specialties may include: lamb stew, grilled black pork soup or grilled bass sarapatel. Good wine list, with highlight to the Alentejo.

A restaurant that belongs to the hotel that has the same name, located in an 18th century manor, with a lovely garden. It has a pateo with excellent panoramic views and a menu of regional and nouvell cuisine dishes. Excellent wine list.

The restaurant Tasquinha Matias, is a single space, but highly recommended for good food, snacks to substantial regional corn farmer, cozido à portuguesa and gilt to tasquinha. With Benfica in high, the mood is more than guaranteed!

A restaurant deecorated with rural motives, located in an ancient bakery, right in the historic centre. The dishes are regional and the meals are accompanied by folk dances or fado on satruday nights and during the high season. Vast wine list.

The Provider's House restaurant is a cosy place where you can enjoy the true and traditional Regional cuisine of Minho. Especially the rice Sarrabulho, milk Lamb Baked in the oven and codfish (Breaded Cod) Provider.

The restaurant is decorated in shades of yellow and blue and has excellent views of the river beach. It serves regional dishes at inviting prices. From December 1 to March 30 it functions solely under previous appointment.

A restaurant of the Hotel do Golfe that has a room with 150 seats and a menu filled with typical dishes of the Minho region. Outside the Hotel, but still inside the complex, there are three more rooms with 60 seats each.

This restaurant serves regional dishes and fine fresh fish. The "migas", the stew, the chops and the black pork "secretos" are fine, as are the cod and the chicken "à moda da casa" (both fried) and the octopus and monkfish rices.
