Santa Susana is a typical village of the Alentejo region, with ground floor small houses, painted in white with a blue bar and big chimneys. Built over a century ago, they lodged farm workers temporarily and they eventually stayed in the place. Nowadays, it is a peaceful village of the Alentejo where one can savour the local gastronomy and become acquainted with the region's craftswork.

Fajã de large dimensions, but with a smaller population, this site offers visitors a haven of peace and tranquility, where water from draining down the hills mark a strong presence. In addition to the nearly fifty houses, you can find the Hermitage of our Lady of Fatima and the fountain which stands next to this. Be sure to notice the interesting lava formations.

The route of the Cold Earth Transmontana route, which runs Intercity about 400 kilometres, passing through the municipalities of Bragança, Miranda do Douro, Vimioso and Vinhais. Several suggested sections can be started in one of the nine doors: Sobreiró de Cima, Moimenta, Rio de Onor, Quintanilha, Avelanoso, Constantine, Sendim, Salsas and Zoio.

Route for a Woods very rich in endemic vegetation, where we can find cedros-do-mato, uva-da-serra, Heathers and puff pastry. Arriving at the Fajã dos Vimes, found a workshop where they still make handmade quilts. The trail ends a little ahead, more specifically in the recreational portinho da Fajã.

Route between Ribeira Grande and Vale das Lombadas, passing through the Ribeira Grande Caldeiras, the Salto do Cabrito waterfall and the Fajã do Redondo Dam. Along the way you will be able to see magnificent views of the sea and the mountains, until you reach Lombadas, where you can enjoy the famous mineral water spring.

This museum is placed at the former residence of the poet, caricaturist, businessman and collector Fernando de Castro (1888-1950). The building was donated to the State after his death and you can admire painting, sculpture and religious art. There is also a library which contains first editions of famous writers such as Camilo Castelo Branco or Padre António Vieira.

Cultural Foundation created in the location where Aquilino Ribeiro lived, more precisely in a manor house dating from the 19th century where the writer lived. The house-museum has a private chapel, an interior courtyard and farm outbuildings. Here you can find hundreds of the writer's personal objects on display, including books, postcards and photographs.

Operating as a house museum since 1990, the highlights include the painting collection of Fernando Namora and other artists, his office collection, and a collection of manuscripts, original notes, galley proofs, published books, and annotations. You can also see some personal objects and cards, as well as a vast library with works by this and other Portuguese and international authors.

The Vilamoura casino is located in one of the biggest entertainment centers in the Algarve. It has 350 slot machines, 20 game tables with baccarat, black jack and French and American roulette. It has a multipurpose room, the Royal Room, which can be used as a conference room or restaurant. The Mira room, with capacity for 550 people, has shows every night.

Located in the Centre of Castelo de Vide, about 600 meters above sea level, this friendly hotel consists of two buildings, one of modern architecture and the other secular.
