After having dinner in one of the typical restaurants of the city, you feel the night is still beginning. The Peixe Square, considered to be the city ex libris, is a place where fun and intercourse are granted. On the other side, you can choose to go to one of the many bars or even one of the region discos, if you like to dance all night long.

Downtown Faro is a true shopping mall in the open, with an architecture of great beauty. Here you will find famous shops which give animation to the space and offer diversified products. Let us highlight the Street Dom Francisco Gomes, a pedestrian street, paved with typical motifs on the floor, where one can find traditional commerce all around.

With a privileged location, close to Ribeira de Gaia, Douro Marina is more than a marina. With the capacity to receive and accommodate 300 vessels, it has a gas station and a workshop for their maintenance and repair, in addition to providing, through specialized companies, boat trips for groups. In the surrounding area, there are restaurants and terraces, where you can enjoy the landscape and quietness of the Douro River.

Access to this fajã, located between Fajã de São João and Fajã do Ginjal, is via a narrow path, where you can enjoy fantastic views. However, this route is only accessible on foot, by donkey, or on horseback. The several houses here are now inhabited only on weekends. The land is used for agricultural purposes, primarily for growing yams and vineyards.

This location, at around 600 meters above sea level, allows a 360º view over a vast area, including Serra da Lousã and Serra da Estrela. This center, located approximately 2.7 kilometers from Vila de Rei, marks the center of the country. Here you can also find a small museum with an auditorium, bar and souvenir shop.

Route that begins in the village and ends at Pico da Vara, the highest point on the island, with about 1100 meters of altitude. After reaching the peak, can choose to descend to the Algarve, the Lomba da Fazenda or go down the same path. Will pass by a waterfall, in the Ribeira de Purge, by Lomba de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, some pastures and the mountain Simplicius.

Route which begins down a path that goes up to the whale Lookout from where you can enjoy a privileged view over the canal and the island of São Jorge. Then go down to the Bay of Gasparal, which was used for many years as boarding zone for kites of verdelho wine to export. From this point the route always follows in the coastal area to the Lajido.

This route begins at the Miradouro da Vista do Rei. Begins by Strand West Ridge of Caldeira das Sete Cidades. In this part of the route can be seen: on the right side of the boiler dry and the lagoons of the seven cities and on the left the West coast of the island of São Miguel. The route traverses an area classified as Protected Landscape and ends in the village of Sete Cidades.

Short route, intended to be done on foot or by 4X4, with a length of around eleven kilometers. It takes five hours on foot or an hour and a half in a 4X4. It starts and ends at the Rural Interpretation Center in the village of Bruçó (where you can purchase products made with chestnuts), traveling through land occupied by chestnut trees, with emphasis on a century-old chestnut tree.
