Dwelling house of bourgeois character, with two floors and a penthouse on the axis of the main façade. The main façade of the building occupies a prominent place in the urban landscape of the County.

Build on the beginning of the 19th century; this palace is composed by three bodies with ground and main floors. It has ten parapet windows with small pediments on the main floor, in which the central window is topped by a Coat of arms. On the inside there is an atrium and double stairs leading to the main floor.

This Environmental Interpretation Center aims to simultaneously pay tribute to Dalberto Pombo (a citizen who dedicated much of his life to research and teaching in the field of natural history), establish a multifunctional space focused on environmental issues, and enhance Vila do Porto's built heritage.

The "Feira dos Capões", well known for being the fair of the castrated roosters, takes place at the Freamunde parish on december 13th. It is the only event of that kind in Portugal and it has taken place at least since the 15th century and it was oficialized by a king's decree on August 3rd 1719. According to the specialists, the fact that a rooster is castrated makes him fatter and stimulates his growth, thus making his meat better tasting. Temple from the 13th century. It appears to have been part of a Convent of Benedicts, still in the period when the town was called Nabância. It was rebuilt by D. Gualdim Pais, in 1160, who made it the pantheon of the Templars in Portugal. Its structure presents transition elements from the Romanesque to the Gothic style, the latter being predominant.
