The castle of Mogadouro was donated by D. Afonso Henriques to the Templars and, a few years later, passed to the Order of Christ, its successor. Today, only two sections of walls remain, an isolated tower with rectangular faces and some scarce remains of carved walls.

A monument of military architecture, created by a series of figures, including, for example, Martim Afonso de Melo, Hieronimo Rozetti, Lassart, and Rui Correia Lucas. Its construction model has served as inspiration for other forts. Today, it houses the Military Museum.

Old mill, Rod press community located on the Bank of the Ribeira de Santa Marinha, where the cereeiros were going to do the wax. Even today there are manufactured annually more than 2000 kg of wax, in "breads" of 30 kg each.

Dating from the 14th century, the Church was remodelled in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was the most important Temple of the village. Was made up of quadrangular, with vault and ogival arches ships 3. Today part of the left front with the Manueline portal, as well as part of the headboard.

A volcanic formation, approximately 5,150 meters long, it is the largest known lava tube in Portugal. It was formed by lava ejected from a volcanic eruption in Cabeço Bravo, and today, curious geological structures such as stalactites, lava stalagmites, and lava balls can be seen.

The Pico Island Vineyard Culture Landscape is made up of Lajido da Criação Velha and Lajido de Santa Luzia, occupying a total of 154 hectares. These sites constitute excellent representations of traditional architecture, landscape design and natural elements, located on extensive lava fields. Since 2004, the vineyard landscape on the island of Pico has been classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

The atelier is located on the upper floor of this house, where a group of weavers dedicate themselves to the art of sewing and weaving, using three looms. On the lower floor there is a traditional loom, an exhibition on the linen cycle and the handicraft shop, where you can buy pieces made by weavers and products from the region, such as honey, tea or handicrafts. In addition to proposing programs of stay with accommodation, promotes workshops dedicated to weaving and photography, as well as routes and tours.

Small picnic Park, wooded lot which provides shade. Has artificial lighting, and barbecue grills. The site it is possible to observe a vast countryside and nearby localities.

This small 17th century fortress has a small chapel with 18th century tiles. In 1976 the fortress was given to the Armed Forces social services to be used as a vacation site.
