On the main facade there are three windows, the sides being blind and the central one open, with a grille, topped by a panel of blue and white tiles depicting Saint Anthony. The pediment is cut out, with two small bell towers on the sides. The interior is of a nave, with the main altar in marble.

Fundado em 1452, o convento apresenta curiosas aplicações de tijolo na fachada e na torre sineira. Na igreja destacam-se os painéis de azulejos seiscentistas, um conjunto de pinturas murais, bastante danificadas, três retábulos de talha setecentista e frontais de seda bordada a ouro. O claustro, de dois pisos e em granito, tem no centro uma fonte de mármore.
