The temple belonged to a former Franciscan convent. The access is done through a six flight staircase, sided by six chapels, presenting sculptures descriding the life of Christ. From the churchyard you may view the city and close villages, the Mondego River, serras and valleys.

A monumental temple that stands out for its symmetry and proportion balance. The main façade has a magnificent portal, topped by a large rose window, and sided by two bell towers with a pyramidal ending. In the interior, baroque, a special note to the altars in polychrome and golden carvings.

One of the best exemplars of the Portuguese baroque that owns a large variety of glazed tiles and woodcarving. Totally rebuilt in the first half of the XVIII century, this church presents an irregular profile, with only one tower.

The Church of San Isidoro is one of the most interesting and best preserved testimonies to Romanesque of the current municipality of Marco de Canaveses. This church, together with that of Tabuado, standardizes the Romanesque Lower Tâmega, both in the Organization of space as in the arrangement of the elevations, in the typology of openings and in like rank in rosettes. This church conserves one of the most interesting murals produced in Portugal in the first half of the 16th century.

A church with a visual expression, tending toward the geometrical foundations of concrete architecture. With its unique architecture, reminiscent of the Estado Novo era, the dome and side walls of the High Altar are decorated with paintings depicting the life of Saint Isidro.

This nucleus is composed of two graves dug in a rock.

This neoclassic commemorative Padrão is topped by straight and balled frames and a heraldic block in relief. Initially it was located next to the bridge and afterwards it was moved to this garden.
