The fortress of Nossa Senhora da Luz has a portal with pilasters and a pediment heavy denticuladas. The coat of arms of Portuguese Crown evokes the overlapping of past wars.

Similar to the Bateria das Fontainhas but more recently build, this fortress was projected at the beginning of the 20th century by the engineering major António Augusto Nogueira de Campos.

Church built between 1753 and 1759 consisting of a single nave. In the interior, highlighted by a polychrome gessoed image of Nossa Senhora da Piedade and the seven Dolors.

Palace built in the 18th century by Álvaro Xavier da Fonseca Coutinho. The coat features the arms of family Fonseca Coutinho and Povoas, to which it still belongs.

The Monumento do Empresário (a tribute to the Porto’s great businessmen) is at the beginning of the Marechal Gomes da Costa Avenue. It was created in the beginning of the 90ies by the sculptor José Rodrigues.

Located between Santa Marta and the Boca do Inferno, it is located on a cliff by the Pedra da Nau. It is currently ruined and only a sentry-box can be identified.

Dam located in the Northeast of Trás-os-Montes, framed by a beautiful landscape of almond and cherry trees. It is integrated into the Douro Hydrographic Basin, in Ribeira das Tábuas.

This curious basalt formation of volcanic origin resembles, in profile, the shape of a whale, which gives it its name. It is located in the small bay of Ponta da Barca.
