Located in one of the most beautiful areas of Alentejo is this House of rustic architecture. The climate of this region is favourable for horticulture and fruit-growing. In the village of Rabal, in the Montesinho Natural Park, five miles from Bragança, is this very picturesque cottage, in shale and slate roof, typically transmontana. Quinta da Casa Amarela is located on the left bank of the Douro River, between the cities of Régua and Lamego, in the heart of the oldest demarcated wine region in the world, the Douro, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been in the same family since 1885 and produces Port and Douro Designation of Origin wines.

In this museum the story of Ovar and its people is told. Old regional costumes and delicate embroidery, objects related to ancient customs and professions, examples of architecture and interiors of popular houses make up part of the exhibition. Also noteworthy are the hundreds of dolls from many countries and the collection of contemporary paintings and ceramics.

Village house of regional construction, all in granite. It has five bedrooms, three doubles and two double, equipped with air conditioning and bathroom. Simple and rustic décor. It also has library and lounge with a fireplace and, abroad, a swimming pool for hot days. Serves meals, when previously requested by the guests.

This is a neoclassic work built in limestone from this region, with two bell ringer towers. The façade presents six pilasters with Ionic capitals where three windows and three porticos open up, on the porch. On the inside it is worthy to mention the marbles and the paintings, particularly the canvas with the images of John the Baptist and the Last Supper.

Parish Church, Rococo and late-Mannerist Baroque. It has nave and chancel and sacristy located near. Follows the regional typology of simpler Matrices. Features inside wooden canopies, chorus-alto, pulpit in the Gospel-side, side altarpieces in Mannerist and late-Baroque chancel altar with Rococo altar table.

This street, the more medieval, was one of the first to be opened in Guimaraes, to make the connection between the convent founded by Mumadona and the Castle. Of great architectural value, scroll through it we can appreciate the convent of Santa Clara, the Arc's House, the Casa dos Peixotos region and the Gothic House of Valadares, among others.

This hill belongs to the Old Massif and is placed between the Larouco, Cabreira and Marão mountains. To the north, the hill separates the basins of the Cávado and Tâmega rivers. It is also known by the name of Serra as Alturas (Hill of the Heights), it is 8 km long and it is located on the northwest of the Trás-os-Montes region. The Carvalhelhos springs are located there.
