Acquired by Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira in 1877, this farm was a project conceived from scratch, created on previously uncultivated land. The vineyards cover more than 85 hectares of the property and are planted in soils of different geological nature: schist, granite and alluvial. This diversity, unusual in the Douro region, contributes to the complexity of its magnificent wines.

The "Casa de Rosende" (House of Rosende) is one of the most imposing in the region due to its architectural beauty. It dates back to the 19th century, with na interior chapel that has a set of religious frescoes. Around the house there are vineyards and orchards where farming is still made. Visitors may also enjoy beautiful gardens and camellias.

A 16th century chapel, consisting of nave, chancel and vestry and Bell and is the only building that remains of the Village of Eagles.
